The individual bungalows are built in the traditional way of the Ngöbe-Buglè Indians, and outfitted with modern solar power generators to provide modern comfort without impacting the ecosystem of nearby Bastimentos Island National Marine park. The 7 bungalows provide intimate privacy for the visitors of this secluded Eco Resort with its relaxed atmosphere and personal service.
The bungalows are all built on stilts, and are open towards the water. Canvas covers provide easy closure of the open wall section, if required. Inside, a hammock and reading chairs, as well as custom-made mosquito nets and security lockers provide comfort and safety.
Visit the two-story restaurant for a meal made from fresh local ingredients by the European chef, stroll along the white-sand beach, swim in the lagoon, or make use of the resort’s kayaks and snorkeling equipment. Look out for the monkeys, sloths and lizards living nearby, or spot a multitude of birds from the restaurant’s birding tower. A special feature are the diving tours and courses offered by a certified instructor at the resort.
