Los Quetzales Trail
Today you will get on one of the most scenic trails in Central America, walking through breathtaking landscapes varying at different altitudes. You will have the opportunity to spot a variety of trees, plants and bird species, including the Resplendent Quetzal, Bear-necked Umbrellabird and Three-wattled Bellbird, amongst many others. (B, L)
Due to the volcanic origin of the area, the land around Boquete is extremely lush and green with superior birdwatching and wildlife, featuring the elusive quetzal which was considered sacred by the Mayas.
