The core element in all our tours is to keep the environmental impacts to a minimum, while at the same time maximizing the benefits to the local host communities.”   – Annie Young,  Director and Founder

Fair

Fair wages and respectful communication with our staff, partners, suppliers, and most importantly to our travelers are a strong part of our commitment. The fair pricing of our products ensures the quality of our guides, drivers, providers and the overall travel experience.

Local

By working with local people and communities we directly support our country and ensure an authentic experience for our travelers. We work with boutique hotels, restaurants and transportation solutions owned by locals.

Educational

Our specialist guides are experienced and ensure responsible encounters with the ecosystem, wildlife and local cultures, providing authentic in-depth insights and understandings through their ability to interpret nature and Panamanian culture.

Teamwork

The EcoCirucitos Panama team together with its suppliers and providers work together not only to provide quality service, but also to uphold their affirming responsibility to protect and conserve the environment and support our local communities.

Community tourism

We strongly believe that sensitive and well-prepared encounters between travelers and local communities result in a rich cultural exchange for both sides, and directly support their local economic and social development.

Conservation and Social Support

We strongly believe that through the tourism industry in Panama we can support  conservation and education for our future generations.

EcoCircuitos Panama is a member of the Panamanian Foundation of Sustainable Tourism (APTSO) to promote best practices and support rural and community based tourism.  We are also partners with local NGO’s such as Foundation AVIFAUNA Eugene Eisenmann that promotes the protection of bird species and their habitats;  Marviva Foundation that supports  local community boat drivers in the protection of marine wildlife conservation.  Also we have been supporting  Casa Esperanza  to sponsor children education scholarship program since 2008.

EcoCircuitos contributes 1% of trip sales to different programs for conservation that makes grants to charitable organizations and NGOs’ operating in the Republic of Panama. Recipients of donations are carefully selected based on input from our local outfitters, guides, trip leaders, clients and staff.

We actively encourages our travelers to contribute to conservation efforts in the area where they have traveled. For more information, you can contact Annie Young J. directly: annie@ecocircuitos.com
