At the Tocumen International Airport of Panama at the appropriate time for your international flight arrival. You will be returned for your departure flight.

Comfortable athletic shoes, light leisure clothing, rain jacket/poncho, mosquito repellent and sunscreen. A hat, sunglasses and bathing suits are recommended. Hiking shoes highly recommended.

Panama City Panorama

Hike up the lush Cerro Ancon, watching out for monkeys and sloths along the way and enjoy extensive views of the City, the Panama Canal and the lush surroundings on top. Afterwards stroll the colorful Casco Antiguo with your historian guide and visit important UNESCO sites. (B)

Hiking Camino de Cruces Trail

Go into the rainforest and hike part of the historic connection between the Pacific and the Atlantic Ocean, watching out for exotic animal species along the way to the Chagres River, where you will board a small boat and visit the Wounaan indigenous community. (B, L)

Kayaking the Panama Canal

Explore the Panama Canal Watershed and its rainforest surroundings by kayak, keeping your eyes out for tropical animal species. Passing by giant cargo ships sitting at water level will give you an interesting perspective of the Panama Canal in action. (B, L)

Pirate Trails: Fort San Lorenzo & Caribbean Reefs

Gain an insight into the inner workings of the Panama Canal and explore the UNESCO-listed Fort of San Lorenzo on a privately guided tour. (B, L)

Kayaking Mangroves & Transcontinental Train

Go on a kayak again to paddle the mangrove forests of the Portobelo area, watching out for caimans, water birds, sloths and many other animal species before boarding the scenic Panama Canal Train in the afternoon, returning along the Panama Canal from the Caribbean Coast to Panama City on the Pacific Ocean. (B, L)
