In the morning you will head to Cerro Ancon, a lush hill behind the old town of Panama City. During this easy 30-minute walk through tropical rainforest keep your eyes open for wildlife like monkeys, sloths, birds and many others. The hilltop offers an extensive panoramic view of the whole city, the bay, the lush surroundings and the Panama Canal.
Continue to Casco Antiguo (the old city compound), which dates back to the late 1600’s. Here, walk the French Plaza and its surrounding area showcasing the colonial styles of the French, Italian, American and Spanish.
