The Lost Waterfalls is a private nature reserve that borders the Barú Volcano National Park. During this tour, participants will hike through its cloud forests and visit three waterfalls. The area has excellent birding as well. The hiking trail parallels the Quebrada La Mina. This creek run through the reserve and later merges with the Río Caldera. During the hike, you’ll have the opportunity to explore a small cave and search for tropical birds. You will make your way to the waterfalls after 2.5 hours hiking till the end. Participants of every skill level are invited on this tour, although they should be in good physical condition—some sections of the trail are strenuous and can be slippery during the rainy season.
